The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the joint operation using missiles and drones. At least 85 US military targets were reportedly targeted. These included the US Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain and Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait. Both bases are key parts of the US military's network of operations in the Middle East.
