How to disassemble and paint your Xbox One S controller!

If you're interested in following me further, feel free to check out my gaming channel:    / @lamentersgaol   Painting your regular xbox one controller is the same exact process, the old and new controllers are pretty much the same. I used rustoleum enamel paint, and rustoleum primer and clear coat. You don't have to use rustoleum specifically, but make sure your paint is enamel and it specifically says it sticks to plastic. The screwdriver you need is the torx 8 security screwdriver. If you have a regular torx 8 laying around that isn't the security version, you'll need to break the security pins off of the screws with a tiny piece of metal or something if you want to use it. Breaking the security pins requires some finesse but it doesn't damage the controller or effect the screws really at all. I used regular blue painters tape, and as you can see some paint bled under it. Vinyl is great for masking areas and will get you clean lines. Another alternative is green painters tape (also called frogtape). That will also give you clean lines, and you can get it at home depot or any hardware store that sells paint.
