【姫竹(根曲がり竹)】"東北食材探しの旅"第二弾！雨に濡れながら絶品食材を大捜索！！

今回は、岩手県の山へ「姫竹（ひめたけ）」の収穫に行ってきました。 姫竹は、東北では「根曲がり竹（ねまがりだけ）」とも呼ばれる山菜で、チシマザサの若芽です。 雪の重みで根元が曲がって育つことから「根曲がり竹」と呼ばれ、アクが少なく、やわらかな食感と上品な甘み、爽やかな香りが特徴です。 旬の時期にしか味わえない、山の恵みとして親しまれています。 しかし、この日の天候はあいにくの雨。 足元はぬかるみ、濡れた笹が行く手を遮る中、姫竹を探して山の中を歩き続けました。 果たして、旬の姫竹を見つけることはできたのか──。 雨の山ならではのリアルな収穫の様子を、ぜひ最後までご覧ください。 In this video, we head into the mountains of Iwate Prefecture to harvest Himetake. Himetake, also known as Nemagaridake ("bent bamboo"), is the young shoot of the Chishima bamboo (Sasa kurilensis). It gets its name because the stalks bend near the base under the weight of heavy winter snow. Prized as a seasonal mountain vegetable in northern Japan, Himetake is known for its tender texture, delicate sweetness, and fresh aroma. Unfortunately, the weather was far from ideal. Rain made the mountain trails muddy and slippery, while the dense, wet bamboo grass made the search even more challenging. Were we able to find these highly sought-after spring shoots?
