Natalie Wood hit the silver screen at an early age. Spurred on by her mother she rose through the ranks to become one of Hollywood's biggest stars. All was not how it seemed however. Behind the scenes her mental and physical health suffered due to her mothers forceful ways, the media's constant barbs and their interest in her failing relationships. This would culminate in 1981 when, while out on a pleasure cruise to celebrate her return to the big screen with husband Robert Wagner and co-star Christopher Walken, an argument broke out with Wood returning to her cabin, alone. The next day her body was found floating, lifeless in the surrounding waters.
