Town Hall COPs in 4 Philippine Cities: Inclusive Local Resilience with the SIRA Project

Resilience from the ground up. 🤝 In March 2026, the Philippine cities of Antipolo, Gingoog, Legazpi, and Parañaque held their own Town Hall COPs—locally organized, community-driven events inspired by the UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP)—putting vulnerable sectors at the center of resilience planning. As part of the Enhancing Local Capacities in Socially Inclusive Resilience in Asia (SIRA) Project, vulnerable sectors were invited to share their lived experiences, knowledge, and suggested solutions to make local resilience plans more inclusive.
