It's been 10 years since I started using a camera. I now work as a professional photographer, but it took me 10 years and a whopping 4 million yen to get to this point. But now I strongly believe that it wasn't necessary to spend so much time and money. When I first started taking photos, I didn't have anyone to teach me or an environment to help me improve, so I taught myself how to take photos. However, if you really want to improve, you can improve much faster by efficiently learning from talented photographers and applying what you learn to actual shoots. It didn't take 10 years. Also, at the time, I thought I could take better photos if I used higher-spec cameras and lenses, so I spent a huge amount of money on various cameras, high-end lenses, and editing equipment. But this was also a big mistake. Good photos aren't determined by the camera you use. They're determined by the talent and skill of the person using it. I had somehow lost sight of this obvious truth. So, learning from my past mistakes, I decided to create a channel that will help viewers improve their photography in the most efficient, fastest, and most "essential" way. I'll use harsh language, repeat the same things over and over, and say things that go against common sense. But that's because I want everyone to avoid the same waste of time and money I experienced because of my misunderstandings. Honestly, I took a lot of detours, but my life has been enriched by my camera. Since I got a camera, I've come to appreciate the small, everyday things. Since I got a camera, I've learned the joy of having an impact through my work. Since I got a camera, I've been able to encounter beautiful things all over Japan. Since I got a camera, the memories I make with friends and family have become even more precious. Now I use my camera for work, and my encounter with my camera is a treasure to me. I'm committed to helping people who have a strong desire to seriously improve their photography, to live doing what they love, and to earn money through self-expression.
