Physical Risk, Climate Change, and the Investor Response
Johan Rockström is one of the world’s most prominent climate scientists. A director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and co-chair of the Earth Commission, he pioneered the Planetary Boundaries Framework, which identifies safe limits for human impacts on Earth. In this discussion, Rockström joins Richard Manley, CPP Investments’ Chief Sustainability Officer to explore how tipping points affect risk, the economic impact of climate change, and how investors can respond.
