Searching for an Elusive Viewpoint in the Mt Jefferson Wilderness
It's pre-permit season on a low snow pack year, so I head into the Mt Jefferson Wilderness for an early season backcountry overnighter in search of a viewpoint I found on one of Hike Oregon's videos. It was over 9 miles to my camping spot and last two miles were a slog up snow over a buried trails. It was worth every drop of sweat.
