Höhe an der Trompete mit Zuhilfenahme der Materialtonleiter. Noten fotografisches Gedächtnis.

Hello everyone, In this video, I'll describe my approach to playing high notes on the trumpet and connecting the high and low registers. First important point! Only play as high as you can without manipulating the sound. Don't try to force it, and perhaps occasionally play a note above it to build up your range. It's crucial not to change your embouchure, maintain a steady airflow, and above all, remain stable. Next important point! Play softly, or rather, as softly as you can. High notes aren't necessarily about volume. Of course, a stronger airflow helps us play higher, but it subconsciously suggests we exert more force on the trumpet and our lips. Therefore, play softly! Again! Only play as high as you can, increasing the pitch from note to note, and return to the starting note with a stable and clear tone. Here, you're almost subconsciously working with the church modes. These are commonplace in jazz. Therefore, it doesn't hurt to consciously play them and get them into your head. I hope you have lots of fun and send you my warmest regards, Robert!
