Pioneers Hip Hop Show (14/3/22 - Juice Crew All Stars 1984-1987)

This month's Kane FM Pioneers Hip Hop Show is all about the legendary Queens collective, The Juice Crew All Stars. On this show, we look at the indie years of the crew circa 1984-87, before Cold Chillin' would sign a deal with Warner Brothers. We dig deep, from the beginnings of the the crew pre-1984 through to the formation of Cold Chillin' Records late in 1986. As usual, we feature pictures of all the records played and play tracks from Roxanne Shante, MC Shan, Bizmarkie, Craig G, Tragedy, Kool G Rap, The Terminators, Big Daddy Kane and Marley Marl, following the history in chronological order and sharing the tales of the time.
