Cycling to Desaru and Sedili

Cycling to Desaru and Sedili was tougher, compared to the other side of Johor (Forest City, Pontian etc). Our trip was also longer, 2D1N 300km. What is the difference between cycling West and East side of Johor? Desaru's endless slopes will wear you down. The elevation and climbs could be double. But cycling along the coast is a new experience. Imagine cycling North towards Mersing, Kuantan, Terengganu. That would be epic! West side would be more traffic (especially route 1 and 3), but roads are generally wider. West side are more populated, thus plenty of food options. East side limited petrol stations along "kampong" road, you can only stop at those mamak stores (to confirm). Back to Desaru, which was on my bucket list. I simply wish for a Desaru trip, and my buddies immediately brought me out! They should have warned me that slopes start from Ulu Tiram and along route 92. The heat was relentless, and we got showers of blessing (for 50km!) on the second day. Thank you folks for bringing me to new places to cycle. ps.. If you are taking the ferry, choose Desaru Coast or Pengerang. Singapore side would be Tanah Merah terminal. ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ 1)You may reference my custom Google Map here for our pitstops. https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mi... 2)Link to my Malaysia cycling playlist    • Cycle Malaysia   ~~~ ~~~ Music Credit : 夢もさめないうちに | Japanese Kawaii Future Bass Vibes | Free BGM No Copyright Music | 無版權背景音樂 | 日系vlog Artwork🎨 : チャイ TrackList🎼 : 夢もさめないうちに All Music promoted by FUJINEQo Music 2_23 AM _ Japanese Chill Lofi Vibes _ Free BGM No Copyright Music _ 無版權背景音樂 Artwork🎨 : の字 TrackList🎼 : 2:23 AM All Music promoted by しゃろう(Sharou)
