زار معالي كريستيان شتوكر، مستشار جمهورية النمسا، جامع الشيخ زايد الكبير في أبوظبي، يرافقه سعادة الدكتور أيتين بيرشتولد، سفير جمهورية النمسا لدى الدولة، والوفد المرافق، حيث اصطحبهم سعادة مدير عام المركز في جولة أطلعهم خلالها على تاريخ الجامع ودوره في مد جسور التواصل الحضاري، وما يتميز به عن غيره من دور العبادة، وقدم أخصائي الجولات الثقافية حمد البلوشي لمعاليه والوفد المرافق شرحاً مفصلاً عن جماليات الجامع وبديع فنون العمارة الإسلامية التي تجلت بوضوح في جميع زواياه. وتم إهداء ضيف الجامع تذكاراً يعكس جماليات الجامع، ونسخة من كتاب "جامع الشيخ زايد الكبير.. دفق السلام". His Excellency Christian Stocker, Chancellor of the Republic of Austria, visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Etienne Berchtold, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the UAE, and the accompanying delegation. They were accompanied by the Centre’s Director-General on a tour during which they were introduced to the mosque’s history, its role in fostering intercultural dialogue, and the features that distinguish it from other places of worship. Cultural Tour Specialist Hamad Al Blooshi also provided His Excellency and the accompanying delegation with a detailed overview of the mosque’s aesthetics and the splendour of Islamic architectural arts reflected throughout its spaces.
