Specifically, a TWO-DIMENSIONAL DISTRIBUTION. Using the data obtained from the Math and Latin grades of a class of 25 students, we will find the mean, standard deviation, variance, covariance, and the PEARSON correlation coefficient. We will study this last result to determine if the relationship is strong or weak, direct or inverse, and we will draw the "cloud of points." Finally, we will find the REGRESSION LINE of y over x, to calculate the expected Math grade for a student who obtained a 4.5 in Latin.
