Actor Go Ayano appeared at the premiere event for his starring film "Shinjuku Swan 2" (directed by Sion Sono, opening January 21st) held in Tokyo on January 8th, along with the main cast. In addition to Ayano and Kamiji, director Sono, Tadanobu Asano, Yusuke Iseya, Motoki Fukami, Nobuaki Kaneko, Yuki Kubota, Ren Kiriyama, Yuta Nakano, Yuki Sato, Wataru Ichinose, and producer Mataichiro Yamamoto also participated in the event. "Shinjuku Swan" is based on the popular manga by Ken Wakui, serialized in "Weekly Young Magazine" (Kodansha). In the previous film, Tatsuhiko Shiratori (Ayano), who had neither money nor a job, caught the eye of the shrewd sex industry scout Makoto (Iseya) and became a scout for "Burst," a scouting company based in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, and the story depicted him overcoming harsh trials. In "2," Tatsuhiko, who has become Burst's ace, is sent to Yokohama along with executive Gensuke Seki (Fukami) on the orders of the president, Yamashiro (Toyohara Kosuke), but there he finds himself in a place ruled by a man called Taki (Asano), and Shinjuku and Yokohama descend into all-out war...
