いつも料理は全て完売!満席すぎる料理好きオカンと美人娘のおばんざい屋さん!
The shoot this time took place at Jikochu, an obanzai restaurant located in Ikuno, Osaka. The proprietress, who simply loves to cook, prepares a wide variety of obanzai dishes that are all highly regarded and deeply loved by many customers. On this day as well, around twelve different dishes were lined up, all of which sold out before closing due to their popularity. By 6:00 p.m., every seat in the restaurant was already filled. The restaurant is designed like a traditional counter, with the proprietress at the center, creating a space where customers can naturally strike up conversations with one another. Although the place was lively and buzzing with energy, most of the groups were actually meeting for the first time. With the help of the proprietress and her daughter, the atmosphere quickly became warm and friendly, connecting people and bringing everyone together. Watching customers chat happily—and enjoying it more than anyone herself—is what makes this place so wonderfully “Jikochu.” It’s truly a charming and special restaurant. Jikochu 4-14-13 Ikuno-nishi, Ikuno-ku, Osaka, Japan Hours: 5:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Closed: Sundays, Wednesdays, and public holidays
