Apparently DaVinci Resolve has done something to change/speed up their YouTube rendering, which is leading to more compression and artifacts. I re-rendered this using custom presets and won't be using their YouTube preset anymore! Apparently some other Resolve users have complained about this "feature" as well. There will definitely be more Hard Offs in 2025 - any ones you want me to visit in particular? From my original Hard Off video in 2024: Go out of your way to more remote HOs to find the best stuff. The ones closer to Tokyo and Yokohama didn't really yield much in terms of MD-related stuff because they may have already been picked clean. Having said that, there's an element of luck because you never know what people are going to turn in!
