From France to AirVenture Oshkosh in Eight Days
People come to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh from all over the world, but Matthieu de Quillaco did it in a truly unique way: he flew himself in his homebuilt helicopter, covering more than 5,000 miles from France. The helicopter, a single-seat Kompress CH-7, was modified with ferry tanks to enable Matthieu to fly up to twelve hours between fuel stops. And, in true EAA fashion, once he got here, he started work as a volunteer.
