Natural Dyeing with Buddleia: How to Get a Rich Gold from Garden Weeds
Buddleia colonises waste ground, railway sidings, and canal banks across the UK. It also gives a warm old-gold yellow on pre-mordanted wool. In this film I show the whole process using spent flowers, explain why the pH of your dye bath matters, and share the colour result. No specialist equipment needed. The journal post on my website is here https://www.snapdragonlife.com/news/b... This is part of my Natural Dye Plants series, filmed in my studio in rural Scotland.
