This time, I test-drove the Daihatsu Taft. Although it's been around for a while, it's a car I've been interested in for some time, and it's been frequently requested by viewers. The Taft's most appealing feature is its large glass roof. Driving it, I found the sense of openness to be even more enjoyable than I imagined, and I felt it's a car that adds a little excitement to everyday commutes. What surprised me even more was how well the naturally aspirated engine performed. I was worried about its lack of power since it's a kei car, but it was surprisingly easy to handle and didn't feel stressful driving around town. Furthermore, the ride quality was excellent, and the packaging was superb. Unlike overly spacious tall wagons, it has just the right size and a user-friendly luggage space, making it a very attractive everyday companion. I've thoroughly reviewed everything from the enjoyment of the glass roof, the performance of the naturally aspirated engine, the ride comfort, and the usability of the interior and cargo space.
