The learning of piano by copy method 2/2

A film by Rémy Campos about Pierre Goy's research project: “Learning through copying, an educational tool”, 2018. This project is a continuation off the one dedicated to Ravelian piano. The experiments carried out during the first phase highlighted the various stages of the process of learning through copying. The students involved appropriated the stylistic characteristics as well as the origins of Ravel’s musical discourse. The second project furthers the experiment by applying the process of copying to the learning of the piano by children and by widening the repertoires studied.
