ONE-IIOE 2025 AGM Keynote Speakers: Shellyza Sajwani and Lhamo Dolkar

Hear from our 2025 AGM keynote speakers, Shellyza Sajwani and Lhamo Dolkar! Shellyza Sajwani is the current co-chair and co-founder of the Canadian Association of Pharmacists for the Environment (CAPhE), and works as an oncology pharmacist at the Ottawa Hospital. Shellyza completed her Masters of Pharmacy at Aston University, and later completed a PharmD at the University of Toronto and later served as the co-president of Pharmacists Without Borders Canada from 2018-2021. Shellyza has also completed a certification from Yale University in Climate and Health. Shellyza will speak about pharmacy's environmental footprint and how nurses can partner with pharmacists to reduce that footprint. Additionally, she will speak about the journey of founding and growing CAPhE. Lhamo Dolkar is the president of RNAO and a Nurse Practitioner at Lakeridge Health GAIN clinic, ensuring that seniors can live in their own homes safely and independently. Lhamo is a second-career nurse and brings her international healthcare experience into her Canadian nursing career. She has worked across various sectors, such as multidisciplinary clinics, group homes as a youth counselor, acute care, nursing homes, public health, and community health care. Lhamo will share some words of wisdom regarding the importance of leadership, education and advocacy across the healthcare sector.
