We've made it to Hong Kong Disneyland, and we’re diving into a full day of exploring, eating, and experiencing everything this unique Disney park has to offer. We started the day unsure of the park’s entry process, but the efficient shuttle system and smooth security check made it a breeze. Our first stop was Jungle Cruise, which had some unique updates compared to the U.S. version, followed by an absolutely stunning ride on Mystic Manor, Hong Kong’s take on Haunted Mansion. The ride’s trackless system, detailed storytelling, and incredible effects blew us away—it’s a must-do! From there, we explored Grizzly Gulch, World of Frozen, and Toy Story Land, each offering immersive theming and exclusive attractions. We also got to experience Festival of the Lion King, which turned out to be a completely different and more polished version than its U.S. counterpart. The Marvel-themed Tomorrowland surprised us with smooth reskins like the Iron Man Experience and Ant-Man & The Wasp Nano Battle. Hyperspace Mountain was a highlight, offering a much smoother ride than its Paris counterpart. We wrapped up the day with Momentous, the park’s nighttime spectacular. While the projections on the newly rebuilt castle were some of the best we've seen, the emotional impact wasn’t quite as strong as other Disney fireworks shows. Still, the villain section was a standout! Overall, Hong Kong Disneyland impressed us with its cleanliness, unique attractions, and incredible food—yes, even the mystery box surprises!
