DIRTBIKE ROCKSLIDE

We got a call for a dirtbike that had fallen off the road on LaSal Pass at the Scree Field. So Mike and I loaded up in Trailmater and went after it. After making it up to the location we decided to scout our options. We walked down the road and hiked up to the bike from the lower side. There was so many fallen trees and obstacles that it didn't look like a good route. So our only option was straight up the rock slide area. We positioned the truck and ran out our rigging. We used a snatched block to a rock to get the bike over to where it could go up in the least rocky area. Then we pulled it up close to the road. Then we had to reposition the truck so we had room to get the bike on the road as it came up... And of course in the last few feet is when we dropped it, and by we I mean I. We got it stood back up and made the final climb to the road. Then we packed everything up and rode it back down to the shop for the customer to come pickup.
