Chef Susur Lee searches for healthy food ingredients in Japan. He visits Dr. Torako Yui in her Toyouke Organic restaurant, picks vegetables at her organic farm, and cooks at her farm house in Shizuoka. About Chef Susur Lee: Praised as one of the “Ten Chefs of the Millennium” by Food & Wine magazine, Canadian Iron Chef Susur Lee is at the top of his game. Chef Lee makes numerous television appearances (Chopped Canada, Iron Chef America, Top Chef Masters, Master Chef Asia and Iron Chef Canada) and travels the globe, and especially Japan, as a guest chef and consultant. He was recently named an ambassador to Canada’s 150th birthday celebrations and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Canada’s 100 Best. In 2019 Chef Lee was named the first foreign chef to be granted The Red Chef’s Hat Award in Qing Dao.
