This model is suitable for flat round stone ( 2 identical faces ) or round cabochon stone ( stone with 1 flat face ) With an average stone size of 1.5 - 2cm in diameter, can use wire Wire has a diameter of 0.8 - 1mm ( 20 gauge - 18 gauge ) , length is 5 times diameter of stone for main wire Wire has a diameter of 0.6 - 0,8mm ( 22 gauge - 20 gauge ) , length is 4 times diameter of stone for criss cross wire Wire has a diameter of 0.3 - 0,5mm ( 28 gauge - 24 gauge ) , length 10cm for wrapping wire Criss cross wire should be 1-3 sizes smaller than the main wire for easy manipulation. If the stone is small, use 2 strands instead of 3 (for the front). The small crystals have the effect of making the distance between wire equal.
