R36Max - How to install the New ArkOS Called dArkOS

On this video I give you step by step instructions on how to install dArkOS on an R36Max. I haven’t done a full test but so far everything seems to work. I show you how N64 performs visually but I did have to map all the buttons through RetroArch in order to play the game. I’m using my MacBook Pro to do the installation and the reason why I do that is because a Mac will allow you to mount an image directly to computer without the need for extra software and on my PC, I would have had to flash an extra Micro SD card with the ArkOS4Clones image in order for me to collect the .dtb files that I need for the R36Max. The Mac saved me some time. I use an App called “The UnArchiver” that’s a file extraction tool just like 7zip and because “Rufus” doesn’t have a Mac version, I download Raspberry Pi Imager and install it to be able to flash the OS to the Micro SD card. The whole process is fairly simple and I encountered no errors. I will include links to all the sites below except for “The UnArchiver” which is a searchable App in the App Store. I’m really happy with this operating system. So far I have installed it on my R36S, BatleXP G350 and now on the R36Max and from what I saw inside the “Consoles” folder that’s in the ArkOS4Clones boot partition, those developers are including several folders in there and I’m assuming that each folder will have the corresponding .dtb files for each device. So we should be able to use them to install dArkOS in any of those devices to test it out. I’m not saying they will all work but you can tinker with them. I was also able to install and run the “zram manager” script but I don’t see a big improvement running N64 or PSP. In conclusion, I hope that you enjoy the video and found it helpful.
