Classic Crisco Pie Crust 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup well chilled Crisco shortening 4 to 8 tablespoons ice cold water Blend flour and salt in a large bowl. Cut shortening into flour mixture using a pastry blender until coarse crumbs form. Stir in enough water with a fork just until dough holds together. Divide dough in half; Shape into two 1/2 inch disks. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 10 minutes. Roll out each disc 2 inches larger than pie plate on a lightly floured surface.
