Parents of Shooter Ethan Crumbley Sentenced to 10-15 Years
Jennifer and James Crumbley learned their fate. Their son Ethan Crumbley murdered four students and wounded seven others at a high school in 2021. They bought him the gun he used in the shooting and failed to secure it. James Crumbley was in tears as he addressed the families of the victims. The parents were sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter. It's the first time in history that the parents of a mass shooter were held criminally responsible for their son's crimes.
