Road Trip #152 - US-80 W - Flowood Dr, Pearl/Flowood to Western City Limits, Jackson, Mississippi

US Highway 80, beginning at Flowood Drive between the cities of Flowood and Pearl, Mississippi. US-80 is the dividing line between the two cities with Flowood to the north. We travel west on US-80 into the city of Jackson, crossing a series of bridges, built in 1938, that cross a rail line, old US-49 and the Pearl River. US-80 through Jackson has many old roadside motels, many of which are still operating. This is a throwback to a time when US-80 was a primary east-west coast to coast route. A large portion of this video covers a concurrency of US-80 and Mississippi Highway 18. We conclude at the Jackson/Clinton city limits.
