In accordance with the West Coast Tourism Belt development plan linked with nearby Jebudo, Gungpyeong Port, and Hwaseong Lake, it was selected as the nation's first pilot leisure fishing port area and developed into a multi-functional themed fishing port. A breakwater connecting Seosin-myeon and Daebudo in Ansan City was constructed right next to the port, allowing boats to enter and exit 24 hours a day regardless of the tide. It features marina facilities where yachts and boats can dock, and is an optimal location for water leisure activities with calm waves and a water depth of over 3 meters. The Hwaseong Boat Festival, Hwaseong City's representative festival, is held every year from late May to early June. You can enjoy a cruise from Jeongok Port to tour the beautiful islands of the West Sea, such as Ippado, Dorido, Gukhwado, Yukdo, and Pungdo.
