Does Rose Ayling Ellis still speak to Giovanni inside fallout of Strictly best friends
Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice used to have such a close friendship, that some fans thought they were dating. After lifting the Glitterball trophy in 2021, Giovanni, 34, said Rose, 29, who was the show's first deaf contestant, had changed his life. The victorious pair looked like they had a ball on the subsequent Strictly tour and often posted videos of each other larking in rehearsals, much to their fans' delight. The stars reunited in 2022 to raise awareness for those suffering from mental health, releasing a beautiful black and white photo for a thought-provoking campaign, which showcased their unbreakable bond. Rose also visited Giovanni in his native Sicily, where she was introduced to the star's sister Angela on Gio's BBC One travel show with Strictly judge Anton Du Beke.
