In this video, I demonstrate my battery design for Worccraft tools. The battery uses a 5S3P design with 18650 cells and has a capacity of approximately 8.5 Ah. The key feature of this project is that these batteries can be used in 40V Worccraft tools, where two 20V batteries are installed simultaneously. As a result, the user receives significantly more energy than standard batteries, meaning longer runtime for trimmers, chainsaws, and other powerful garden tools. The 5S3P configuration distributes the load across more cells, reducing the current per cell, reducing heat generation, and positively impacting battery life. The design also includes a built-in charge indicator with a digital voltmeter. It not only allows you to monitor the charge level but also more accurately track the voltage of each battery while the tool is running. This is especially useful for 40V systems, where two batteries are used simultaneously and it's important to monitor the status of each. Furthermore, the battery is designed for maximum repairability. Individual components can be replaced if necessary without purchasing a new battery, significantly reducing the cost of ongoing operation.
