Phenomenal Squeeze Over the Entire Board. Capablanca vs Ragozin 1935
In this positional masterpiece the world champion Jose Raul Capablanca squeezed his opponent by playing over the entire board. After closing the center he started a pawn storm on the kingside and completely paralyzed his opponent on that part of the board. The he did the same on the queenside, after which his opponent's pieces were squeezed on the two ranks and simply didn't have space to move. The game was awarded a brilliancy prize. 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. a3 Bxc3+ 5. bxc3 d6 6. Qc2 O-O 7. e4 e5 8. Bd3 c5 9. Ne2 Nc6 10. d5 Ne7 11. f3 Nd7 12. h4 Nb6 13. g4 f6 14.
