The Ultimate North Sound Pitstop: Bitter End & Saba Rock βοΈπ»π¬ (February 2026)
A little slice of luxury in the middle of a bareboat charter! πβ¨ For our February 2026 trip through the British Virgin Islands with the Moorings, we decided to repeat a favorite tradition from two years ago: booking a marina slip at the Bitter End Yacht Club in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda. Since we mostly snag mooring balls (thanks, Boaty Ball!), this was our ultimate treat for the week! After settling into our slip (which we easily booked via Dockwa), we hopped in the dinghy and buzzed over to Saba Rock for some classic dock-and-dine action. Itβs the perfect open-air spot for lunch and cocktails with some of the best views in the Sound. πΉποΈ The video also highlights the stunning Bitter End Yacht Club. For decades, itβs been the ultimate sailing destination and the perfect final stopping point before making the sail or cruise up to Anegada. Seeing how beautifully it has been rebuilt as an eco-friendly luxury resort after the devastation of Hurricane Irma is incredible. The Marina Perks: πΏ Huge, clean, and modern shower facilities π A beautiful clubhouse with sweeping views of the sound π Excellent provisioning shops and several beachfront dining/bar options πββοΈ Water sports rentals and top-notch service all around Both of these stops are absolute must-visits if you're cruising the BVI! β΅οΈπ
