Prophetstown State Park Campground Review

Prophetstown State Park Campground is a beautiful campground with lots to offer. You can spend your time relaxing at your campsite and take in the beautiful view. If you like to be on the go, make sure you bring your bike to ride on the paved bike trails or walk along their 9 miles of hiking trails. On a hot summer day you can splash around at their aquatic center. We preferred the lazy river. If you are looking for more educational exploration you can visit The Farm at Prophetstown and experience farm life in the 1920s. You can walk around the Native American Village, listen to one of the many public programs about nature or history, or see the Circle of Stones. We drove by the stones but didn't have time to get out and take it all in. The stones commemorate the tribes that lived at Prophetstown.
