Hitchhiking across the Entire Country of Guyana

I just finished hitchhiking across the entire country of Guyana a 3day trip from Georgetown in the north to Lethem on the Brazilian border in the south. The route took me through rough, muddy roads deep in the Guyanese jungle. I rode on everything from family-owned trucks to old World War II cargo trucks that are still running today. It wasn’t easy rain, mud, sleeping on the side of the road, and all the challenges that come with traveling this way. This is the first step in my plan to hitchhike all the way to Antarctica without using planes. Guyana gave me a taste of how tough this is going to be.
