We interviewed Fernando García Caro to discuss his new theory of synchronicities, presented in his book, *The Old Man's Secret*. Everything written about Sandra Mazarovski's death is worthless, and it's highly likely that the fatal accident that ended her life one night in August 1977, when she was just shy of her 19th birthday, occurred not far from her home, under tragically unfortunate circumstances. But there was an unexpected witness: a watch that the author of this book, Fernando García Caro, had lent him years before. The watch, a distant witness, made no statement about the event, but its eloquent message has led García Caro to reformulate Gustav Jung's theory of synchronicities and to attempt an even more ambitious goal: to reveal the Old Man's secret. This book, which originated in Sandra's tragic accident, deals with all of this. "But let everyone know that I have not died," says the last of the three lines of the poem "The Gazelle of Dark Death" by Federico García Lorca, which can be read on his tombstone epitaph. Fernando García Caro knows this to be true.
