The water heats up during the day and slowly releases it again at night. Then you have a free heater for your greenhouse. Another option that costs no money: Place a large wheelbarrow full of fresh grass clippings in the greenhouse. The finely cut grass quickly begins to ferment and builds up a heat of up to 70 degrees Celsius inside. While not free, grave candles that you place in the greenhouse overnight are inexpensive and effective. A gas greenhouse heater also works well. And inexpensive, because it's temperature-controlled (thermostat), is the electric version, which only heats when the temperature drops below a preset temperature. I'm also sowing basil and spaghetti squash. And with my new Russian excavator (hole digger), I want to dig some soil to plant wild garlic. But after just a few seconds of use, the stem broke.
