KRA is set to roll-out an online chatbot that will support MSMEs seeking tax information and services from the Authority. Speaking during an MSME roundtable held in Nairobi, KRA acting Commissioner for Micro and Small Taxpayers Department, George Obell, said that this is among various initiatives that KRA is introducing to enhance customer service and increase tax knowledge. The Commissioner said that the chatbot will assist in answering the many queries that micro and small taxpayers may have regarding tax compliance.
