Nashipai (Vanessa Sapiyo) is a film about a teenage Maasai girl's struggle with cultural hurdles and family dictation to eventually rise to academic and artistic success. This film created, written and directed by Ejay Washingtone depicts how good friendships can be embraced and harnessed for betterment of one another. Nashikuni (Joy Naomi) and Sumaiya (Maryanne Sion) constantly encourages their talented friend to enter and model in a County extravaganza. True to their wishes, Nashipai emerges the winner and with the crown becomes the face of Narok County landing her a lucrative Scholarship from the Governor of the county and an international Advertisement for the Massai Mara Game reserve.
