The Expression – The Expression (Australia, 1983) | FULL ALBUM

The Expression – The Expression Sydney, Australia, 1983 electronic, rock, new wave, synthpop The debut album by Australian group The Expression is a hidden gem of the synthpop scene. Like many works from that era, it is filled with nostalgia, melancholy, and the distinctive dynamics of classic synthpop. Released in 1983, it reached #55 on the Australian charts. The band never achieved major commercial success, and out of the four singles released from the album, only one – "With Closed Eyes" – reached the national Top 30 (#27). Yet, in retrospect, the album clearly deserves much greater recognition. 1. Present Communication* – 00:00 2. With Closed Eyes* – 04:49 3. Dawn, Day And Sleep – 08:23 4. Total Eclipse* – 13:07 5.
