Ghana Demands Justice After Bringing Home Evacuees From South Africa

The second phase of Ghana’s evacuation of its citizens from South Africa has been completed, with another group of returnees arriving safely at Kotoka International Airport. Speaking at the airport, Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, assured the returnees that they remain valued citizens and that government support will continue beyond their arrival. More importantly, he declared that Ghana will continue pursuing justice, accountability, and compensation for Ghanaians affected by the recent xenophobic attacks. He also reaffirmed that Ghana is still demanding justice for the two Ghanaian nationals who lost their lives.
