When you press the button, lava should come out of the top dispenser. Usual cause: you forgot the Lava Bucket, or forgot to press the button. ▼Steak isn't collecting in the chest 💡Place the hopper while sneaking, aimed at the chest. Placed on the ground it looks the same but isn't connected. Break it and re-place it sneaking + aimed at the chest. ▼The dispenser won't activate 💡Check you didn't use a dropper by mistake. A dispenser has a round hole; a dropper has a square hole. The one crafted with a bow is the dispenser. ▼Water won't come out of the dispenser 💡Check a Water Bucket is inside and the button is pressed. You need a sideways water flow, so load 2 water buckets, one at a time. ▼The water keeps freezing 💡If you build in a cold biome (Snowy Plains, Frozen Peaks, etc.), place torches around the farm. Light both inside and outside stops the water from freezing. ▼Cows won't grow when I walk away 💡By Minecraft's rules, mobs only grow and the farm only runs while you're within simulation distance. At simulation distance 4, stay within 44 blocks. ▼Checked everything and it still won't work 💡Go through this in order: ・Hopper placed while sneaking + aimed at the chest ・It's a dispenser (round hole), NOT a dropper ・30-50 parent cows packed inside the pen ・The top lid of the farm is closed ・The Lava Bucket is in the correct dispenser ・A player is within 44 blocks of the farm If everything checks out and it still won't run, leave a comment!
