Canicule en France : Paris ouvre le canal Saint-Martin pour permettre aux habitants de se rafraîchir
Heatwave in France: Paris opens the Saint-Martin canal to allow residents to cool off This week, France is facing its second extreme heatwave of the year, with maximum temperatures expected to reach nearly 40 degrees Celsius in some areas. To cope with this heatwave, the Paris city government has made the emergency decision to open a section of the Saint-Martin canal ahead of schedule, initially planned for July, to allow residents to swim and cool off. As a safety precaution, authorities have only designated a perimeter of approximately 100 meters, open for just four hours a day, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Photo: VCG) #LeJournal
