In this video I break down the real difference between stereo and dual mono compression, show you where dual mono genuinely helps your mix, and where it quietly hurts it. You'll also see how I use dual mono on my rear bus channel for parallel compression, and why that's where it really earns its place in a mix. If you're a Cubase user and don't have a compressor with a built-in dual mono mode, I'll also show you a native Cubase method for pulling this off with any compressor plugin you already own.
