Barn Hunt Trial in McDonald, TN - North Georgia Kennel Club - DAY FOUR - 7/5/2026 - INST/NOV/OPN

Lexie & Krypto participated in day four of their first Barn Hunt Trial on 7/5/2026. I added Krypto to Instinct to do a warm up. He correctly identified the rat. But I talked too much during his first run and I called him off his rat. Ugh. He hunted better the next run, but no go. Lexie sniffed hard where the rat was the previous run and I called rat too fast. Next run was a little better but no rat. Four days was too much for us to do. Learned lots and met some SUPER judges, volunteers and cool people! Both were in Novice A. Both are Lagotto Romagnolo. Lexie is 3 years old and Krypto is 1.5 years old. The trial was hosted by the North Georgia Kennel Club, in McDonald, TN at the Tri-State Exhibition Center.
