Replace Microswitch in BMW 2007 E93 Fix Slamming Loud Roof RHT
A very simplistic video to show how I resolved the issue of my BMW e93 328i Retractable Hard Top cabriolet convertible roof from slamming hard down on to the windshield cowling. There is a service bulletin out there that recommends replacing the microswitch hidden behind the upper windshield cowling. Sorry about the shi$$y video quality. I ordered this part from a UK dealer... Part Number: 54 37 7188595 ebay seller was https://www.ebay.ca/usr/bmminiparts?_... took me about one hour. tools required -Philips to remove sunvisors and sunvisor clips -allan key to remove micro switch after removing cowling cover. hope this helps at least one person out there.
