FEIJOADA PARA 50 PESSOAS | Silvana Oliveira

Hey everyone! If there's a dish more Brazilian than feijoada, I don't know it! And today, we're going to prepare a delicious FEIJOADA FOR 50 PEOPLE together! That's right! We're going to make a feijoada for you to enjoy at parties, get-togethers, or for that Sunday samba. Let's go! 👉🏾 FEIJOADA INGREDIENTS: 2kg of black beans; 2kg of pork ribs; 2kg of dried beef; 1kg of pig's feet; 1kg of pig's ear; 1.5kg of bacon; 2kg of calabrese sausage or paio; 6 bay leaves; 2 onions; Garlic to taste. PREPARATION: The night before, I soaked the kilos of beans in water because it helps with cooking. And I also soaked the meats to remove the salt. I changed the water three times. In a large pressure cooker, I add the beans, alternating with the already desalted meats and bay leaves. For this amount of feijoada, it took 1 hour and 40 minutes under pressure. I remove the savory snacks and arrange them on a platter. In the broth, I put the whole sausages for 5 minutes. After it's ready, I cut it into slices and leave it with the other meats. For the seasoning, I sauté 2 grated onions until they are golden brown and add the garlic to sauté as well. 👉🏾 FAROFA INGREDIENTS: 1kg of cassava flour; 500g of bacon; 500g of sausage; 250g of butter. PREPARATION: After frying the bacon and sausage (already cut into cubes) well, add the butter and let it melt. Finally, add the flour and mix well. 👉🏾 INGREDIENTS FOR THE KALE Kale cut into thin strips; Olive oil; Salt; Garlic. PREPARATION: Sauté the garlic in olive oil and add the kale to the pan. Mix well and let it cook for 2 minutes until the kale is cooked to your liking.
