Strauss: Die Fledermaus San Diego 1980 Sutherland Sills Resnik Titus Campora Bonynge BETTER SOUND

Thank you Martin for sharing this recording with me!!! In my opinion, This is the BEST recording of Die Fledermaus out there! Date is October 5th 1980. This is the only time Joan Sutherland, Beverly Sills and Regina Resnik came together to all sing on the same stage. This was one of Beverly Sills' farewell performances. I've done pitch corrections as each act was at a different pitch, and fixed the pitch of the overture. There are still signs of wow and flutter, but I've tried my best. I've also spliced the second half of Act 2 where it should be (Previously it was at the end of Act 3 for some reason????) I've also improved the sound quality. It now sounds clearer and more 3d. Sadly I can't do anything about the slight distortion (I believe this may have been recorded on a cheaper low end type 1 cassette) It really is a performance worth listening to!!! Enjoy!
