This time, the Tono Exploration Team headed to Tamoto Station, a remote station in Nagano Prefecture. Opened in 1935, this station sits atop a sheer cliff, making it a unique station inaccessible directly by car. In the video, we actually travel to Tamoto Station on the Iida Line, walk the steep path leading from the station to the settlement, and explore dangerous bridges, cliffside paths, landslide sites, and even traces of the old road that once existed here. This isn't just a simple "remote station introduction," but rather a exploration of why a station exists in such a location, and how people in the past used this station.
